[15 May 2012|10:00am] kotoshin [ mood | confused ] This is a little extremely frustrating, as I know the series is pretty stretched out, and to make sense of the timeline, it's DIFFICULT and sometimes the chapters need to be backtracked. (and while occasionally a chapter can span half a year or more - I'm lookin' at you, Nav 60! Most are all within the same day, or like in Woody's intro, 2 Navigations.) ( I know non one's been posting for 8 months ... but ... here's what I have so far. ) Will be periodically adding to this table as I find more actual DATES. ARRRGGHHHAAA. EDIT: I GIVE UP ON DATING CHRONOLOGY AND AM DOING SEQUENTIAL LOGIC - ADJUST THE DATES YOURSELF AS YOU SEE FIT OKAY?!?! *HEADDESKS*

I don't seem to have any luck with ebay, though it may be their crap-ass search system. Did anyone even make a chibi Aika dangle with long hair, much less short hair? (I like short hair Aika best.) I'm looking for anything, not just officially licensed stuff. I named my teeny tiny music player after Maa because it's teeny and cute just like she is, and it has a loop for a phone dangle, so... :P Also: does anyone know anything about volume 6 from Tokyopop? I don't see anything except the old June 2009 amazon listing, which is clearly defunct. I was thinking of setting my English editions aside and collecting the French ones to read, but they seem to be stalled at #7 (published Dec 2008) and Kami doesn't seem to have had any activity at all since then. And those are the only two languages I can read. :(

(9 comments; read - post - add) [30 Nov 2009|09:25pm] keristars So, uhm, anyone have the Tokyopop edition of volume 5? If so, does yours have totally screwed up copy text on the back? Mine reads "Spring has come again and Akari now welcomes the start of her second year on Aqua. In the spirit of new beginnings, Akari sees a mysterious woman with a spectacular voice while helping the company president run some errands." I'm sure you're all aware that 1) this volume begins with Akari's narration saying "This is my second autumn since I came to Aqua" and 2) Akari is doing training with Alice when she first sees/hears Athena singing. President Aria is there, yes, but only incidentally. It's not even like someone failed to edit the right words, because volume 3 has different text: "Spring has arrived on Aqua, marking a full year since Akari began her training. And when the seasons change, it means it's time to rage!" I'm already kind of annoyed with Tokyopop for some of the things they've done with Aria, but I buy them anyway because I can't read Japanese and I want to support the series with my money as much as I can. Can I hope that my copy is a rare misprint that got mixed in with corrected ones?
